Assalāmu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatullāhi Wa Barakātuh

We thank our listeners for tuning in and present the following Islamic State news bulletin for Monday, the 29th of Rajab in the year 1436 of the prophetic hijrah.

The following is a glimpse at our main headlines:

■ The soldiers of the Khilāfah completely liberate the city of ar-Ramādī following an assault on the most important Safawī strongholds in the region – the 8th Brigade base and the al-Anbār operations command building.

■ Following a siege and nearly two days of clashes, the soldiers of the Khilāfah take complete control of the Ārāk gas company and the al-Hayl gas field in Wilāyat Hims.

■ 170 Nusayrī soldiers are killed during the course of battles taking place in Wilāyat Hims over the last four days.

■ The soldiers of the Khilāfah fend off a convoy advancing from Jordan towards their positions in East Qalamūn and capture a large quantity of weapons and ammo as ghanīmah.

■ An istishhādī operation destroys a group of Safawī military vehicles west of the city of Bījī in Wilāyat Salāhuddīn.

♢ In Wilāyat al-Anbār:

● During the course of the Battle of Abū Muhannad as-Suwaydāwī, the soldiers of the Khilāfah pursued the remnants of the Safawī army and its Rāfidī militias in the city’s various neighborhoods, and succeeded in taking complete control of the Iskān neighborhood, the stadium region, and the 8th Brigade base, which is considered the largest and most important Safawī stronghold in the region. The mujāhidīn captured the 8th Brigade base, the tank and rocket launcher battalion base, the al-Anbār operations command building, and the power stations in the city. And after fierce battles in which dozens of murtaddīn were killed and wounded and hundreds fled, the soldiers of the Khilāfah succeeded in clearing both 60 Street and 100 Street, and reached the points overlooking East Husaybah, which is considered the main stronghold for the al-Bū Fahd Sahwah.

● During the course of these battles, the lions of al-Anbār assaulted the so-called “antiterrorism” administration in the city of ar-Ramādī and freed all the prisoners there, after a number of murtaddīn were killed and a number of others fled.

● The mujāhidīn also killed Muthannā al-Muhaymīd al-Jābirī, a lieutenant colonel in the Safawī police and the director of police in the stadium region in ar-Ramādī, during the course of battles that took place in the stadium region in which dozens of murtaddīn were killed along with him.

♢ In Wilāyat Hims:

●  The soldiers of the Khilāfah succeeded in taking complete control of the Ārāk gas company and the al-Hayl gas field following a siege and clashes that lasted nearly two days. They likewise captured five tanks, five artillery guns, two 130 caliber field guns, dozens of light, medium, and heavy machine guns, and an extremely large quantity of ammo, including tank and artillery shells. The ghanīmah also included a number of 4×4 vehicles, lifts, and trucks.

● During the course of battles that took place in Wilāyat Hims over the last four days, at least 170 Nusayrī soldiers were killed, including 70 that were killed in the battle to liberate the city of as-Sukhnah, more than 100 that were killed in the al-Hayl gas field, and several others who were killed in the Ārāk gas company. This is in addition to dozens more who were wounded, walhamdulillāh.

● The mujāhidīn also rigged and blew up the gas pipeline to the Furqlus gas company, and targeted several Nusayrī vehicles on the road between Hims and Tadmur.

♢ In Wilāyat Dimashq:

● An Islamic State rockets and artillery detachment targeted several points inside the Khalkhalah military airbase with various types of rockets, burning one of the military planes inside the airbase.

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah fended off a Sahwah convoy advancing from Jordan, and captured a large quantity of weapons and ammo as ghanīmah.

♢ In Wilāyat Salāhuddīn:

● Our brother Abū Ahmad at-Tūnusī carried out an istishhādī operation with a vehicle carrying 1.5 tons of explosives west of the city of Bījī. He targeted a group of Safawī vehicles attempting to break the siege on the Bījī refinery, and succeeded in destroying many of the vehicles, and in killing and wounding dozens of Safawī soldiers. May Allah accept him amongst the shuhadā’. Clashes continue to take place near the area of Hondāy southwest of the city of Bījī against the Safawī army and its Rāfidī militias.

● Near the same region, Safawī army and Rāfidī militia positions were bombarded with mortar rounds, leading to 8 of their vehicles being destroyed.

● Also in the same region, Islamic State snipers killed two Safawī soldiers, walhamdulillāh.

♢ In Wilāyat Shamāl Baghdad:

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah in the region of al-Farhātiyyah repelled an assaulted by Rāfidī Mobilization forces, defeating them and killing and wounding several of their fighters.

● Near the ar-Rumaylāt bridge in the same region, the soldiers of the Khilāfah targeted Rāfidī Mobilization barracks with medium and heavy weapons, killing and wounding those inside.

● Near the area of Sayyid Gharīb, Islamic State snipers killed a Rāfidī Mobilization fighter.

♢ In Wilāyat al-Janūb:

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah destroyed a Rāfidī Mobilization vehicle with an IED.

● They also detonated another IED in the region of al-Mahmūdiyyah, killing one member of the Safawī Abul-Fadl al-‘Abbās Brigade and wounding another.

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah targeted Safawī barracks, vehicles, and lookout posts in the areas of ‘Arab Jabūr and al-Hītāwiyyīn in Zawba’, as well as the Tāriq camp, and the power station, using medium and heavy weapons as well as mortar rounds.

● In the area of ‘Arab Jabūr, a sticky bomb was detonated targeting a vehicle belonging to a Safawī army officer named Walīd ad-Dulaymī, destroying the vehicle and critically wounding the murtadd officer.

● In the area of al-Hītāwiyyīn in Zawba’, the mujāhidīn targeted Safawī barracks with medium weapons, and Islamic State snipers killed a Safawī soldier.

♢ In Wilāyat Saynā’:

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah destroyed a bulldozer belonging to the murtadd Egyptian army that was dredging Muslim farms near the al-Ahrāsh camp in Rafah.

♢ In Wilāyat Barqah:

● During the course of the Islamic State’s battles in Benghazi, the soldiers of the Khilāfah in the area of Sūq al-Hūt in the Sābirī region targeted a tāghūt army position with several mortar rounds.

● Meanwhile, an Islamic State sniper unit in the same region killed two murtaddīn in the areas of al-Bilād and ‘Imārāt as-Subkhah.

● In the city of Misrātah, the soldiers of the Islamic State targeted the Rebel Union headquarters in the region of al-Qūshī with an IED.

♢ In Wilāyat Halab:

 

● The soldiers of the Khilāfah targeted Sahwah positions near Māri’ with mortar rounds, killing three of their fighters.
