Shari’ proof of the apostasy of the Islamic Front

This video presents Shariah proof of the apostasy of the Islamic Front. It shows a history of intent to work with the Kuffar against the Muslims, as well as compromising on the issue of Shariah by leaving the issue to a free democratic vote and making the issue of Shariah just one of the options the people of Syria would get to vote on.

Indeed, it was Sheikh Sulayman Al-Alwan (HA) who warned the truthful from amongst the Syrian rebel groups about joining the Islamic Front due to it’s links with various Taghout intelligence agencies:

So let us examine the path that the “Islamic” Front took after Sheikh Alwan (HA) warned people about them:

Please remember that the Islamic Front has essentially rebranded itself and most of it’s constitutent groups have now become part of the Shamiya Front (Jabhat Shamiya).

And God is Great.

And might belongs to Allah and His Messenger and the believers, but the hypocrites know not.

We ask God to guide us and make us stand firm.

Is the Islamic State Khawarij?

In the Name of Allah, All praise be to Allaah Rubul Alameen, and May the Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon The seal of the Prophets and Mursaleen, The Best of Guidance and Mercy lil-Aalameen, The Mujahid and Amir of the Mujahideen, The Best of Creation, Muhammad (ﷺ) and upon his family and companions and those who follow their rightly guided way until Yawm ul-Deen, as to what follows;

In the unbiased media light of a blowtorch, Islam and Muslims have remained in the cross-hairs of daily headlines for the past 13 years. We continue to find Western leaders, and their gimps in the Middle East, dividing the Muslims into two camps; Extremists and Moderates. Simultaneously, we find the Muslims within themselves adopting this same division. The location of choice to display your camp loyalty is obviously none other than your Facebook profile. Either you sport a fluffy glitter cover pic with pop singers and romance movies in your ‘likes’, a few memes of ‘Islam is a religion of peace!’ on your wall along with some Mufti Menk quotes, or you have a Black ‘Al-Qaeda’ Jee-had war flag as your cover pic with ‘Kuffar Killa’ as your current occupation, Quran, Sunnah and Abu Hajar Al-Hadrami in your ‘likes’, following Musa Cerantonio with all your settings set to private.

Despite the endless hours of back and forth debates between the two camps on facebook, twitter and forums filled with youtube links, ctrl-v IslamQ&A fataawa and capslock, it is clear that no one is willing to backdown online, they will fight it out to the death!… in an online counter-strike kinda way. This division has resurrected, mainly amongst team moderates, a derogatory term to hurl at team extremists that most people have little or no knowledge about; Khawaarij.

Offline on the ground however it is much more serious, with Takfir being a major contributing factor towards the infighting amongst the fighters in Syria, we find this Khawaarij division has taken a deadly place over the past year. The FSA and their allied groups labeling the ISIS as the Khawaarij of today in order to justify their attacks on ISIS bases, kidnapping their fighters as well as women and out-of-court executions. “They are the dogs of hell” and “We will be rewarded for killing them” have been delivered in statements by the FSA et. al, regarding the ISIS. Although these Ahadeeth are true regarding the Khawaarij, we need to ask, is the ISIS eligible to be classified as Khawaarij to begin with in order for these statements to apply to them?

So who are the Khawaarij? What are their beliefs? Are they Kuffaar? Should they be killed? When should they be fought? We must compare the methodology and beliefs of the ISIS before slapping the title “Khawaarij” to their backs and going all Shariah on ’em. So lets get right into it, as proven by the texts and scholarly consensus, the Khawaarij are one of the deviant sects that have deviated from Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jama’ah. At their earlier appearances they did not have a clear methodology that defined their beliefs other than disagreeing with the Muslim rulers, but over time their beliefs have been made apparent which i will list further on.

From the earliest narrations regarding the Khawaarij was by Abu Saeed and others from the Sahaaba may Allaah be pleased with them when The Prophet (ﷺ) was in Ji’ranah distributing gold nuggets and sliver spoils of war from Bilal’s lap, The Prophet (ﷺ) gave to his left and right but not behind him, then Abdullah bin Dhil Khawaisira at-Tamimi, a man with black patchy shaved hair wearing two white garments stood behind him and said: “Be just, O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)!” or ” You have not been just!”

The Prophet (ﷺ) became very angry and said, “Woe to you! Who would be just if I were not?” Umar bin Al-Khattab said, “Allow me to cut off his neck!” The Prophet (ﷺ) said “Leave him, for he has companions, and if you compare your prayers with their prayers and your fasting with theirs, you will look down upon your prayers and fasting, in comparison to theirs. A people will come at the end of time; as if he is one of them, reciting the Qur’an without it passing beyond their throats. They will go through Islam just as the arrow goes through the target. Their distinction will be shaving. They will not cease to appear until the last of them comes with Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjaal.” Bukhari (and An-Nisaa’i with different wording)

I have also seen people attempting to attach the following ahadeeth to the ISIS: Yusair bin Amr said; I asked Sahl bin Hunaif, “Did you hear the Prophet (ﷺ) saying anything about Al-Khawarij?” He said; “I heard him saying while pointing his hand towards Iraq; “There will appear in it (Iraq) some people who will recite the Qur’an but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out from (leave) Islam as an arrow darts through the game’s body.” Bukhari. In another Hadeeth Ali may Allaah be pleased with him said “The Prophet (ﷺ) said that the sign of that is that among them there will be a man who has an upper arm, but no hand; on his upper arm there will be something like the nipple of a female breast, having white hair thereon.” Abu Dawud.

Sit down moderates! before you get excited and rush to check if Abu Bakr Al-Baghdaadi has a nipple on his arm, that specific group of Khawaarij that The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered to fight already appeared from Haruriya, Iraq, and were fought by Ali may Allaah be pleased with him as narrated by Zaid bin Wahb al-Juhani who said “I was in the army which proceeded to fight with the Khawarij in the company of Ali may Allaah be pleased with him. After fighting this particular group, Ali said: “Search for the man with the crippled hand. but they could not find it. Then Ali got up himself and went to the people who had been killed and were lying on one another. He said: Take them out. They found him just near the ground. So he shouted: “Allah is Most Great! He said: Allah spoke the truth, and His Apostle has conveyed!” Sahih Abu Dawud.

Also Abu Sa’id al-Khudri said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a mention of a sect that would be among his Ummah (Khawaarij) which would emerge out of the dissension of the people. Their distinctive mark would be shaven heads. They would be the worst creatures or the worst of the creatures. The group who would be nearer to the truth out of the two would kill them. Abu Sai’d then said: People of Iraq. it is you who have killed them. Sahih Muslim.

So not only was that description and location specifically for that group of Khawaaraij and not a general description of their location forever, but it was with the help of the people of Iraq that were on the truth that fought alongside Ali and killed the Khawaarij. We also know in the Hadeeth narrated by Ibn Hawalah that The Prophet (ﷺ) said: It will turn out that you will be armed troops, one is Syria, one in the Yemen and one in Iraq. Ibn Hawalah said: Choose for me, Messenger of Allah, if I reach that time. He replied: Go to Syria, for it is Allah’s chosen land, to which his best servants will be gathered.” Abu Dawud. This tells us that there will be great Mujahideen from the Ummah in Iraq just as there will be in Syria, this also encourages the Mujahideen to go to Syria, negating the request of those who advise ISIS remain in Iraq as this would be contradictory to the advice of The Prophet (ﷺ), and if the advice was in order to prevent fitnah, why not tell the groups in Syria to accept the assistance of their brothers from Iraq? The more the merrier!

We also see in a hadeeth The Prophet (ﷺ) informing us that the best people from Iraq will pledge allegiance to Imam Mahdi along with the Syrians, which means that Mujahideen from Iraq will remain until Imam Mahdi arrives and be part of his army that will govern according to the Sunnah of The Prophet (ﷺ) and establish the law of Allaah on earth. The grade of that hadeeth however is questionable so i will not cite it although some scholars have said it is permissible to use as it does not contain any rulings or orders of Halal or Haram in it.

Now to proceed as i mentioned earlier, we must understand the beliefs of the Khawaarij to see if they match the ISIS in order to make a connection between the two groups. The scholars have listed the following main points in regards to the methodology and beliefs of the Khawaarij which are as follows:

1 – To revolt against the ruler if he disagrees with their methodology and understanding of the religion.
2 – To Render those who commit major sins as apostates and hell-bound for eternity. Some of them also believe that minor sins take one outside of the fold of Islaam.
3 – They believe no Muslim who enters hell will ever come out, rejecting the Hadeeth and consensus.
4 – They do not recognize or acknowledge the Khilaafah of Uthmaan and Ali may Allaah be pleased with them.
5 – They Permit the Greater Khilaafah to be a man from other than Quraish, free man or a slave, arab or a non-arab, and other groups from within them do not see having a Khilaafah as important at all, rather the people should sort out their affairs for themselves, and if they feel the need for an Imaam they may choose one.
6 – They Abolish the ruling of stoning of the adulterer.
7 – Some of them deny Surat Yusuf saying that it is not befitting to have a love story in the Quran.
8 – Prayer is still obligatory upon women during their menses, rejecting the Hadeeth and consensus.
9 – Emaan (faith) does not increase or decrease.
10 – Not doing an obligatory act is apostasy.
11 – To fight and kill Muslims who they view as apostates and leave fighting the enemies of Islam.
12 – The Khawaarij are followers of whims and desires and innovation.

So with that being said we can clearly agree that this is not the methodology of the ISIS. They did not revolt against a ruler, rather they have been revolted against as they have been established much longer than any group currently fighting in Syria, they do not make Takfir of major or minor sins as far as we know of, they acknowledge and love all the companions may Allaah be pleased with them all, they not only support a khilafah from Quraish but reject any other to be leader since Al-Baghdaadi seems to be the most eligible, they are attempting to rule by the law of Allaah not abolish it and even implement it on their own fighters, they do not deny any verses or chapters of the Quran, they do not require women to pray during their menses, they believe faith increases and decreases, they do not make Takfir on the general population and did not initiate killing Muslims while leaving the enemy, they hold firmly to the law of Allaah and disregard their whims and desires and are against innovation.

But lets play it out anyway and pretend they are Khawaarij just to make a point, if they are Khawaarij do we consider them as disbelievers? According to the majority of scholars, no, they are not. Al-Imaam An-Nawawi may Allaah have mercy on him said from Sharh Muslim: “The view of Al-Shaafa‘i and the majority of his fellow scholars is that the Khawaarij are not disbelievers, this also applies to the Qadariyyah and the majority of the Mu‘tazilah and other groups that follow whims and desires” end quote.

Also, we see from Majmua Al-Fataawa, Sheikh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyah may Allaah have mercy on him said: “The Khawaarij who deviated, whom the Prophet (ﷺ) enjoined us to fight, and whom Ameer al-Mu’mineen Ali, may Allah be pleased with him fought, and whom the leading scholars of Islam among the Sahaaba, Taabi‘een and those who came after them were unanimously agreed upon fighting, were not described as disbelievers by Ali ibn abi Taalib, Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqaas and others among the Sahaaba, rather they regarded them as Muslims even though they fought them, and Ali did not fight them until they shed blood unlawfully and raided the property of the Muslims; then he fought them in order to ward off their wrongdoing and aggression, not because they were disbelievers. Hence he did not take their women captive and he did not seize their wealth as booty.” end quote.

We also find in Lama’at ul-I’tiqaad that Sheikh ‘Abd ur-Rahmaan ibn Saalih al-Mahmoud may Allaah preserve him was asked if the Khawaarij are kaafirs, he replied “The correct view is that they are not to be regarded as disbelievers. Ali ibn abi Taalib may Allaah be pleased with him was asked are they disbelievers? He said: They fled from disbelief, but they fell into the innovation of labeling others as disbelievers; we will not fall into the innovation of labeling others as disbelievers and thus label them as such. This is the correct view, In shaa Allaah, even though their innovations may be described as innovations that constitute kufr.” end quote.

So two points must be noted here, number one; attaching one or two doubtful traits to a group does not qualify as evidence to issue a ruling otherwise it would lead to chaos and a great injustice, let us take two ahadeeth for example and see the outcome;

1 – Ibn `Umar narrated that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “A believer eats in one intestine (is satisfied with a little food), and a kafir or a hypocrite eats in seven intestines (eats too much). Bukhari.

2 – Abu Huraira narrated that The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The signs of a hypocrite are three: Whenever he speaks he tells a lie; whenever he is entrusted he proves dishonest; whenever he promises he breaks his promise.” Bukhari.

Can we now conclude from these two Hadeeth that if we find a Muslim overweight from eating too much who has been caught spreading lies is now an apostate hypocrite Kaafir and is permissible to be killed? I should hope not, similarly we cannot conclude that the ISIS are the Khawaarij based on mere skepticism and the possibility that they might qualify for one or two of their traits without clear evidence, after all, we are the people of proof and not whims and desires.

And number two, the Khawaarij are not Kuffaar and they should not be fought until they begin shedding blood unlawfully and raiding the property of the Muslims. So even if the FSA et. al, believed the ISIS were in fact Khawaarij, it would still not be permissible to fight them for no excusable reason, and if they stopped, then fighting them must also stop. We have seen the FSA et. al using the verse of Allaah:

“And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah . And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” 49:9

Firstly, that verse could very easily apply against them rather than for them as the FSA et. al are visibly the ones committing the oppression, and secondly that verse was mentioned to Ibn Umar by a man trying to force him to fight against a group of Muslims, so Ibn Umar said, “O son of my brother! I would rather be blamed for not fighting because of this Verse than to be blamed because of another Verse where Allah says: “But whoever kills a believer intentionally – his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.” 4:93 – Bukhari.

With this information we cannot agree with the claims of the FSA and their allies that the ISIS are Khawaarij based on the fact that they think anyone who makes Takfeer on another Muslim is from the Khawaarij and should be fought, this shows the lack of knowledge of the laws of Allaah amongst their leadership as well as an inability to control their men. The ISIS must openly state that their beliefs coincide with all of the Khawaarij beliefs and fight the Muslims before a call to fight them can be made, which as far as we know neither have taken place. In fact what we have seen from the ISIS is a call to unity, a mubahaa, to cease the infighting, and to focus on the enemy, all of which have fallen on deaf ears and gone unanswered.

What is rather amusing is that if we use the mentality and judgement of the FSA, more traits could be applied to them that they are in fact the Khawaarij, let us see if they qualify to the following; They do not implement the stoning of the adulterer or any law of Allaah for that matter, They fight and kill the Muslims calling them apostates and have left fighting the SAA, They shave, They pass through Islaam quickly, one day praying, the next day cursing Islaam, they follow their whims and desires and innovation, they wear skinny jeans (i just threw that one in there because it is disgusting, however it is not a mentioned trait). Here we see the FSA actually qualify as Khawaarij more than the ISIS do based upon a trait count and their judgement system. Since they are so eager to earn rewards from Allaah for fighting the Khawaarij, maybe they should begin with killing themselves.

As for the fighting between Jabhat un-Nusrah and the ISIS all i can say is Allahul Musta’aan, leaders from both must renew their intentions and meet as brothers for the sake of Allaah to genuinely seek an agreement quietly out of the public, plan towards what is best for the Ummah in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah, and ensure these decisions are understood and enforced by the military commanders in all provinces so that Allaah will bless their efforts and give them victory, Allaah has said:

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers.” 3:103

The Evil Reality Of Abu Mariya al-Qahtani

The Evil Reality Of Abu Mariya al-Qahtani

Abu Mariyah Al-Qahtani is a divisive and controversial figure who is currently the head “Shari'” in Jabhat Al-Nusra and is regarded as the 2nd in command in that group. He has been responsible for a lot of fitnah and bloodshed in Shaam, and is one of the main figures who engineered Jabhat Al-Nusrah’s split away from the Islamic State. Over the following days and weeks, this blog will post evidences exposing not only his deviancy, stupidity, criminality and bloodthirst, but it will also expose his Riddah (apostasy from Islam).

We start off with a testimony from one of Jabhat Al-Nusrah’s former commanders who left the group after witnessing the corruption, Irjaa and evil brought into the group by the likes of Abu Mariyah Al-Qahtani:

And God is Great.

And might belongs to Allah and His Messenger and the believers, but the hypocrites know not.

We ask God to guide us and make us stand firm.

Did the Islamic State make Takfir on the Taliban?

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

It has come to our attention that people of falsehood and deviance have been spreading an edited video of a an Islamic State Shari’ allegedly making Takfir against the Afghan Taliban. Having examined this video, it is clear that the conversation taking place in the video was a hypothetical discussion regarding the Taliban joining the UN and placing UN laws above those of the divine Shariah.

This discussion based on a question asked by a person who later turned out to be a spy working for the Islamic Front, who then proceeded to post the video on the internet in an edited form which did not make clear this was a hypothetical discussion.

Soon after, Islamic State sources denied that they made Takfir on the Afghan Taliban and they condemned the Munafiqeen who made the recording and misquoted it.

The following is an English translation of the statement, followed by the original Arabic:

1 March 2014

Statement From The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant on the sayings of the deceivers.

In the name of God, the Beneficent the Merciful,

All praise is due to God, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessing upon the Imam of the Mujahideen, our prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. To proceed:

The Islamic State has been slandered with the accusation that it has put takfeer on the Taliban, the Emir of the Jihad Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, and Sheikh Osama bin Laden. These sensationalist allegations were based on recorded audio message from one of the brothers in one of the provinces in Syria, who are linked with different groups.

Putting out trust in God, we say: We seek innocence from God from every abusive statement in contradiction to the Manhaj of the people of the Sunna, which is the known Manhaj of the Islamic State. It is also Manhaj that governs all of our Emirs. We therefore say to the enemies of the Jihad: We do not rejoice in distorting our Manhaj, for it is clearer than the sun at midday, and purer than the roil mentioned, which we shall document from, by the will of God. It is proven that a Mujahid in The Islamic State took them away; a lesson to others by the will of God.  There would be no good in it for us if we had not done this.

False rumors have also been spread to distort the image of The Islamic State, primarily in circumstances surrounding the killing of Abu Khaled al-Suri, and the attributing of this to The Islamic State with no evidence, only that we are in a heated war with the Islamic Front and all their elements on the ground after they became party to fighting the Islamic State; a treacherous conspiracy in which the efforts of the Muhajireen of the Islamic State were hindered. Amongst them was Sheikh Mujahid Abu Bakr al-Iraqi, killed at the hands of the Islamic Front itself. We did not order the killing of Abu Khaled al-Suri and would not have.  In fact, we are completely sundered by what happened in Aleppo. With that being said, The Islamic State is constantly being accused of what had occurred there.

We assure all that the decisions of the Islamic State are only issued by the Emir of the Believers, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and then from the Shura Committee. Individuals or soldiers do not issue them. The members of the Shura Committee are from the previous Mujahideen who went through trials and tribulations along with Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi, Abu Hamza al-Muhajir and Abu Omar al-Baghdadi. These members have shone the spotlight on The Islamic State, and shown the group’s virtues when in al-Qaeda; others in official speeches by the Emir of the Believers, or have been spokespeople for The Islamic State.  Whosoever does not thank the people, does not thank God. Had it not been for God, and then, the people before us, we would not have reached Iraq and the Levant. We and the rest of the Muslims therefore use the example of the people before us. However, if we attribute it to individuals within The Islamic State, this would be contrary to the teachings of those before us. If such things are proven, it will be referred to the Sharia court in the Islamic State, and they will be held accountable as required by the Sharia.

And God is Great.

And might belongs to Allah and His Messenger and the believers, but the hypocrites know not.

We ask God to guide us and make us stand firm.

{وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لا يَعْلَمُونَ}

How to use GPG4USB for secure encrypted communications

What you will get from this guide:
  • The ability to encrypt files and text messages from wherever you are (for instance, an Internet café or at work).
  • The ability to encrypt the messages off-line or when Internet access is unavailable, and then send them from a computer connected to the Internet later.
  • Sending these encrypted PGP messages through secure Tor-based email channels such as mail2tor, sigaint or ruggedinbox.com whilst connected to the Tor network, thus enjoying the benefit of an anonymous internet connection with the added benefit of encrypted PGP email messages. This doubles your security because the user of the email service is untraceable as you are using Tor, and the messages themselves are encrypted using PGP.

1. Introduction to gpg4usb

1.1 Things You Should Know about gpg4usb Before You Start

gpg4usb is a simple, lightweight and portable program that lets you encrypt and decrypt text messages and files. gpg4usb is based on public-key cryptography. In this method, each individual must generate her/his own personal key pair. The first key is known as the private key. It is protected by a password or passphrase, guarded and never shared with anyone.

The second key is known as the public key. This key can be shared with any of your correspondents – and your correspondents can share theirs with you. Once you have a correspondent’s public key you can begin sending encrypted emails to this person. Only she will be able to decrypt and read your emails, because she is the only person who has access to the matching private key.

Similarly, if you send a copy of your own public key to your email contacts and keep the matching private key secret, only you will be able to read encrypted messages from those contacts.

You may also attach digital signatures to your messages. The recipient of your message who has a genuine copy of your public key will be able to verify that the email comes from you, and that its content was not tampered with on the way. Similarly, if you have a correspondent’s public key, you can verify the digital signatures on her messages.

gpg4usb lets you generate an encryption key pair, export public keys to be shared with other people, compose a text message, and encrypt it. You can either simply copy and paste the public key and/or encrypted message from gpg4usb to the body of your email, or save them as a text file to be sent later. Documents and files can be encrypted too.

Note: Be mindful that the original, unencrypted versions of your documents and files may still reside on your computer, so both your correspondent and yourself must remember to remove them from computers when necessary.

gpg4usb lets you exchange keys and encrypted messages with other similar GPG or PGP programs.

For more information about public key encryption, see Chapter 2.4 Cryptology – Public Key Encryption on page 38 of Digital Security and Privacy for Human Rights Defenders.

2. Install gpg4usb and Generate a Key Pair

2.0 Install gpg4usb

gpg4usb is a portable tool that does not require installation on your computer. The software is disturbed as a zip and should be extracted directly to a USB drive or to a folder on your computer; to begin perform the following steps:

Step 1. Locate the gpg4usb zipped archive file, and then extract all the files to a removable USB drive or a folder on your computer:

Figure 1: The gpg4usb program destination location

2.1 Generate a Key Pair

Before you can begin encrypting and decrypting email, text messages, documents and files, you must take two preparatory steps: first you need to generate or import your encryption key pair and second you need to send your public key to your contacts and receive their public keys and import them to your key ring. We describe how to share public keys on the next page. gpg4usb assist you with generating your key pair on the first start of the program. Note that you can always come back to Getting Started window from the Help -> Open Wizard menu.

Step 1. To run the gpg4usb program for the first time , find and double click to open the gpg4usb folder and then double click . This will activate the Getting Started window. Select a language and click Next.

Step 2. At the Choose your Action screen, click Create a new keypair.

Figure 2: Choose your Action

Note the other options to import existing keys available on the First Start Wizard screen. If upgrading from a previous version of gpg4usb, you can choose import settings and/or keys from gpg4usb. If using Thunderbird with Enigmail, you can choose the option import keys from GnuPG. You can also choose to import keys at a later stage by running the wizard again from the Help -> Open Wizard menu.

Step 3. At the Create a keypair click Create New Key.

Figure 3: Create New Key

Step 4. Enter the appropriate data into the corresponding text fields, so that your own window resembles the following:

Figure 4: An example of a completed Generate Key form

  • Set a secure password to protect your private key (please refer to How to create and maintain secure passwords).
  • We advice that you use expiration date and that you set it to less then 5 years.
  • We strongly recommend that you generate keys of at least 2048 bit size. Key of a larger size is more secure, but also requires more time to create, encrypt and decrypt texts.

Note: You do not need to use your real name and real email address when generating your key. However, using email address of the account you will use to communicate will make it easier for your contacts to associate your key with this account.

Step 6. Click OK to generate the keypair.

Figure 5: Generating a key…

Figure 6: New key created

Step 7. Click OK to come back to the gpg4usb window. After the keypair has been successfully generated, you will see a screen resembling the following:

Figure 7: The gpg4usb window, displaying the newly created key pair

Now that you have successfully created a key pair, you need to learn how to export your public key to share it with other people, and how to import the public keys of your correspondents.

3. Export and Import Keys

3.1 Export Your Public Key

You must send your public key to your correspondent before they can send encrypted messages to you.

To export your public key with gpg4usb, perform the following steps:

Step 1. Double click to open the gpg4usb folder.

Step 2. Double click to open gpg4usb program.

Step3. Click to activate the following screen:

Step 5. Click OK to close above window and come back to gpg4usb main window. It will display newly imported public key as below.

Figure 7: The gpg4usb console displaying the newly imported public key associated with your correspondent’s account

Now that you have successfully imported a correspondent’s public key, you must now verify and sign that imported key.

3.3 Verify a Key Pair

You must verify that the imported key truly belongs to the person who purportedly sent it and then verify it as being authentic. This is an important step that both you and your email contacts should follow for each public key that you receive.

To verify a key pair, perform the following steps:

Step 1. Contact your correspondent through some means of communication other than email.

Note: You may use a telephone, text messages, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) or any other method, but only if you are certain that you are really communicating with the right person. As a result, telephone conversations and face-to-face meetings provide the greatest assurance of the authenticity of a person’s identity, if or when they can be arranged safely.

Step 2. You and your correspondent should verify that the ‘fingerprints’ of the public keys that you have exchanged are the same.

Note: A fingerprint is a unique series of numbers and letters that identifies each key. The fingerprint itself is not a secret, and can be recorded and used for verification later if or when required.

To view the fingerprint of key pairs you have created or public keys you have imported, perform the following steps:

Step 1. Select a key, then right-click it to activate its associated pop-up menu.

Step 2. Select the Show Keydetails item as shown below in Figure 8.

Figure 8: The pop-up menu associated with a correspondent’s key

This will activate the following screen:

Figure 9: The Keydetails window with the key fingerprint on the bottom

Step 3. Compare this fingerprint with the one your correspondent see in her gpg4usb program.

Your correspondent should repeat these steps. Confirm with each other that the fingerprint for the key each of you have exchanged matches the sender’s original. If they don’t match, exchange your public keys again (perhaps over different email address or communication method) and repeat the verification process.

If the fingerprints match each other exactly, then you are ready to securely send encrypted messages and files between each others.

4. Encrypt and Decrypt Text and Files

4.0 Encrypt Text

In the example that follows, Terence will encrypt an email for his friend Salima, using the following steps:

Step 1. Double click to open the gpg4usb console.

Step 2. Compose your message as shown in the example below:

Figure 1: The gpg4usb console displaying an example of a message

Step 3. Check the check box associated with the intended recipient of your email as follows:

Figure 2: The gpg4usb console displaying the intended recipient

Note: You can encrypt a message to more than one recipient by simply checking their corresponding check boxes in the Encrypt for: pane. Also, it may prove useful for your personal records to encrypt that message to yourself, so you can read what you sent later.

Step 4. Either click or select Encrypt from the Crypt menu to encrypt your message as follows:

Figure 3: The gpg4usb console displaying an example of an encrypted message

Step 5. Click to select the entire encrypted message, and then click to copy the message to the clipboard.

Note: Alternatively, you may use the short-cut keys associated with each item in the menu, in this case Ctrl + E will encrypt the message, Ctrl + A will select the entire encrypted message, and Ctrl + C will copy the message to the clipboard.

Step 6. Open your email account and then open a blank message page, and then paste this message so that it resembles the following:

Figure 4: An example of a message encrypted in gpg4usb pasted into a Gmail account email

Note: Rich Text Formats (RTF) can corrupt the encrypted message format; hence, it is better to compose your messages in plain text. To convert RTF into plain text in Gmail simply click More Options and select Plain Text Mode displayed at the foot of the message pane as shown below:

Figure 5: Gmail Format Options

4.1 Decrypt Text

To decrypt an encrypted email, perform the following steps:

Step 1. Double click to open the gpg4usb program.

Step 2. Open your email account, and then open the message.

Step 3. Select, copy and then paste the encrypted message into the gpg4usb console untitled1.txt tab as follows:

Figure 6: The gpg4usb console displaying a message for decryption

Note: If the encrypted text appears with double line breaks as shown in Figure 7 below, gpg4usb might not be able to automatically decrypt it. To remove these double line breaks, click on (or select Remove double Linebreaks from the Edit menu) to remove them and then continue the decryption process at Step 4.

Figure 7: The gpg4usb console displaying a message for decryption with double linebreaks

Step 4. Click and enter the password you assigned when generating a key pair, as shown in the following screen:

Figure 8: The Enter Password prompt window

Step 5. Click OK to activate a gpg4usb console resembling Figure 2 above.

4.2 Encrypt Files

The process for encrypting a file is similar to encrypting text messages; in the example that follows, Salima will encrypt a file for Terence, using the following steps:

Step 1. Double click to open the gpg4usb program.

Step 2. Click and Encrypt File to activate the following screen:

Figure 9: The Encrypt File window

The Encrypt File window scroll list (outlined in black) lets you select the email account and corresponding key you will use to encrypt a message to.

Step 3. Click beside Input item to activate the following screen:

Figure 10: The Open File browser window

Step 4. Click to attach the file to be encrypted and return to the Encrypt window as follows:

Figure 11: The Encrypt File window displaying the file designated for encryption

Step 5. Click OK to activate the following screen:

Figure 12: The Done confirmation dialog box

The Done confirmation dialog box shows you where the newly encrypted file resides. An encrypted file can also be identified by either a .asc file extension, for example, Meeting Minutes.doc.asc.

Step 6. Click OK to complete the file encryption process.

Note: You can encrypt a text message you might send along with the encrypted file separately.

Step 7. Using your email account, navigate to the location specified in the Done confirmation dialog box (Figure 12), and then attach the encrypted file to you email as you would any other file.

IMPORTANT: Observe that the name of the file is not encrypted. Make sure that this name does not reveal any important information! Do not forget that an unencrypted version of the file continues to reside on the disk.

4.3 Decrypt Files

In the example that follows, Terence will decrypt the file Salima has sent to him, using the following steps:

Step 1. Double click to open the gpg4usb program.

Step 2. Open your email account, open the message and download the attached file.

Note: If your correspondent has sent a message accompanying the encrypted file, you may decrypt that message by using the method outlined in the Decrypt Textsection

Step 3. In the gpg4usb console (as shown in Figure 1 above), click and Decrypt File window (as in Figure 13 below).

Step 4. Click beside Input item to browse to the location of the downloaded encrypted file as follows:

Figure 13: The Decrypt window, displaying the path to the encrypted file

Step 5. Click OK to activate the following screen:

Figure 14: The Done confirmation dialog box displaying the location of the decrypted file

Important: If you are working from an internet café or at workstations other people may have access to decrypted version of the file, it is better to copy the .asc file to your USB or portable drive, and take it with you so you may decrypt it in the privacy of your own home.

Q: Does gpg4usb have to be used from USB memory stick?

A: No. It can be extracted to and run from your computer hard disk.

Q: How many accounts may I generate key pairs for?

A: As many as you need.

Q: I like the fact that simple cut-and-paste operations are used here.

A: Indeed. However, don’t forget that your email subject header remain unencrypted. Therefore, be careful and don’t enter a subject title which is descriptive or may give you away potentially!

Registering on twitter without Phone Verification – Part 3

This tutorial shows you how to change some settings in the Tor Browser Bundle so that you end up with a US-based IP address. This will allow you to avoid Twitter phone verification or SMS verification.

1. Download Tor Browser Bundle: https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en

2. Once installed, make sure you run the browser at least once, so that Tor generates a Torrc file.

3. Close the Browser, then navigate to the Tor installation folder. Assuming you are using Windows, and that the installation folder is on the Desktop, navigate to the Torrc file using this route: Browser > TorBrowser > Data > Tor. It should look something like this:

Tor Path

4. Right-Click the “torrc file, and choose “Open With”, and open it up with Notepad. Note: Don’t open with Wordpad, it has to be with Notepad.

5. Once opened, add the text “ExitNodes {US}” (without the inverted commas) above the text. There is only one space between ExitNodes and {US}. It should look like this:

Tor Path 3

Then save the file. Do not choose “Save As…”. Just choose “Save” and then close the file.

6. This now means your IP address in the Tor Browser will always be a US IP Address. You are free to register on Twitter and you won’t be asked to verify through phone or SMS. Please make sure your email was also created anonymously whilst also using Tor.

7. If you need your browser to exit through another countries IP address, you need to replace the {US} with another countries code, such as the United KIngdom, which is {GB}. See this list for all country codes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2

8. Note: You are not required to have a single installation of Tor. You can have many installations. One installation can be used for browsing and Twitter activity, the other can be used for specific purposes, such as one for registering with a US IP-address.

Here is an example of this process on YouTube:

Allah (ta’ālā) said, {Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of tāghūt. So fight against the allies of Shaytān. Indeed, the plot of Shaytān has ever been weak} [An-Nisā’: 76].

Allah (ta’ālā) also said, {You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred} [AlHashr: 22].

Allah’s Messenger (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever is killed under a blind banner, calling to ‘asabiyyah (tribalism or factionalism) or supporting ‘asabiyyah, then his death is a death of Jāhiliyyah” [Reported by Muslim on the authority of Jundub Ibn ‘Abdillāh].

Allah’s Messenger (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) also said, “Indeed, everything from the affairs of Jāhiliyyah has been placed beneath my foot” [Reported by Muslim on the authority of Jābir Ibn ‘Abdillāh].

Shaykh Abū Mus’ab az-Zarqāwī (rahimahullāh) said, “We do not perform jihād here for a fistful of dirt or an illusory border drawn up by Sykes and Picot. Similarly, we do not perform jihād for a Western tāghūt to take the place of an Arab tāghūt. Rather our jihād is loftier and more superior. We perform jihād so that Allah’s word becomes supreme and that the religion becomes completely for Allah. {And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah} [Al-Anfāl: 39]. Everyone who opposes this goal or stands in the path of this goal is an enemy for us and a target for our swords, whatever his name may be and whatever his lineage may be. We have a religion that Allah revealed to be a scale and a judge. Its statement is decisive and its judgment is not amusement. It is the kinship between us and the people, for our scales – by Allah’s grace – are divine, our laws are Qur’ānic, and our judgments are upon the prophetic tradition. The American Muslim is our beloved brother. And the kāfir Arab is our despised enemy even if we and he were to have shared the same womb” [Al-Mawqif ash-Shar’ī min Hukūmat Karazay al-‘Irāq].

The Khalīfah (hafidhahullāh) said, “O Muslims everywhere, glad tidings to you and expect good. Raise your heads high, for today – by Allah’s grace – you have a state and khilāfah, which will return your dignity, might, rights, and leadership. It is a state where the Arab and non-Arab, the white man and black man, the easterner and westerner are all brothers. It is a khilāfah that gathered the Caucasian, Indian, Chinese, Shāmī, Iraqi, Yemeni, Egyptian, Maghribī (North African), American, French, German, and Australian. Allah brought their hearts together, and thus, they became brothers by His grace, loving each other for the sake of Allah, standing in a single trench, defending and guarding each other, and sacrificing themselves for one another. Their blood mixed and became one, under a single flag and goal, in one pavilion, enjoying this blessing, the blessing of faithful brotherhood. If kings were to taste this blessing, they would abandon their kingdoms and f ight over this grace. All praise and thanks are due to Allah. Therefore, rush O Muslims to your state. Yes, it is your state. Rush, because Syria is not for the Syrians and Iraq is not for the Iraqis. The Earth is Allah’s. {Indeed, the Earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous} [AlA’rāf: 128]. The State is a state for all Muslims. The land is for the Muslims, all the Muslims” [A Message to the Mujāhidīn and the Muslim Ummah in the Month of Ramadān].

Nationalism, patriotism, tribalism, and revolutionism were never the driving forces inside the heart of the muwahhid mujāhid. For him to lose his tongue would be more beloved to him than to voluntarily utter slogans of nationalist Jāhiliyyah. Rather, the banners of nationalism are beneath his dusty feet, as they oppose Tawhīd and the Sharī’ah and represent the kufrī and shirkī ideologies brought to the Muslim world by the two crusaders: Sykes and Picot.

Amongst the greatest deeds the muwahhid performs is his rejection of nationalism. Rather, his Islam is not correct until he disbelieves in nationalism, as nationalism declares people equal regardless of their religion, it does not discriminate between them accordingly, it limits the religion to a nationalist border, and it prohibits its expansion beyond. For these reasons, nationalism was innovated by the West, as through it, they elevated their dhimmī brethren, empowered apostasy in the Muslims’ lands, divided and conquered the Muslim peoples, and defended the crusaders’ lands from offensive jihād.

The tāghūt Fir’awn ruled his people through factionalism, a predecessor to nationalism. {Indeed, Fir’awn exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters} [Al-Qasas: 4].

And the Muslims were ordered to fight everyone that stands in the way of this religion becoming manifest over all others, not to terminate its expansion upon reaching national borders. {It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, even if the mushrikīn despise such} [At-Tawbah: 33]. {And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah. And if they cease – then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do} [Al-Anfāl: 39].

And the kuffār can never be the equals of the Muslims even if both were to come from the same land. {Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals? What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge?} [Al-Qalam: 35-36]. {Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked?} [Sād: 28].

Therefore, pure tawhīd and nationalism can never coexist.

Finally, nationalism must be disbelieved in so that victory can be achieved for Islam and the Ummah. {Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the Earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient} [An-Nūr: 55].

It was the rejection of nationalism that drove the mujāhidīn in Nigeria to give bay’ah to the Islamic State and wage war against the Nigerian murtaddīn fighting for the Nigerian tāghūt. It was the rejection of nationalism that drove two Tunisian soldiers of the Khilāfah to kill crusaders with visas to Tunisia issued by the Tunisian tāghūt. It was the rejection of nationalism that drove five Yemeni soldiers of the Khilāfah to target Yemeni Rāfidah in Sanaa and Sa’dah. It was the rejection of nationalism that drove the Iraqi, Shāmī, and muhājir soldiers of the Islamic State to wage war against the Iraqi Sahwah and the Syrian Sahwah, after the Sahwāt had betrayed Islam and the Muslims. It was the rejection of nationalism that drove the Libyan and muhājir soldiers of the Islamic State to wage war against the newly erected Libyan tawāghīt: the House of Representatives and the General National Congress. It was the rejection of nationalism that drove the Islamic State to expand from Iraq into Shām and thereafter to other lands: West Africa, Algeria, Libya, Khurāsān, Sinai, Yemen, and the Arabian Peninsula. And it is the rejection of nationalism that will drive the Khilāfah to continue expanding until it takes Constantinople and Rome from the Crusaders and their allies by Allah’s permission…

It was also the rejection of nationalism that drove Abū Ramadān al-Muhājir (Omar Abdel Hamid el-Hussein – may Allah accept him) – despite his Danish birth and upbringing – to target Danish Jews and Danish mockers of the Messenger (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) until he achieved martyrdom in Denmark after pledging bay’ah to the Khilāfah from Denmark.

Abū Ramadān did not let national borders and skies stop him. He did not let a “citizenship” he disbelieved in prevent him from obeying his Lord, defending his Prophet’s honor (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam), and retaliating for his brethren in the Khilāfah. Rather, his own blood and soul were valueless for him to sacrifice for his religion and its expanding body. He gathered what he could of arms, surveyed targets, relied upon his Lord, and executed his brave and selfless attack, terrorizing the Christians, Jews, and atheists of Denmark – a pagan nation that insulted the Messenger (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and a member of the crusader coalition against the Islamic State. The f ilthy blood of the Danes was spilled by his blessed hands, by which he guaranteed for himself a place in Paradise, inshā’allāh. And with the noble blood and tireless sweat of his likes, history is written and preserved.

And now, has the time not come for the crusaders, atheists, and apostates to realize that the Islamic State and its message to the world is here to stay?

The Khalīfah (hafidhahullāh) said, “Let the world know that we are living today in a new era. Whoever was heedless must now be alert. Whoever was sleeping must now awaken. Whoever was shocked and startled must comprehend. The Muslims today have a loud, thundering statement, and possess heavy boots. They have a statement that will cause the world to hear and understand the meaning of terrorism, and boots that will trample the idol of nationalism, destroy the idol of democracy, and uncover its deviant nature” [A Message to the Mujāhidīn and the Muslim Ummah in the Month of Ramadān].

May Allah accept Abū Ramadān, gather him with the Prophet (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) in Paradise, and make him an example for the Ummah everywhere to follow…

Abū Hamzah al-Muhājir (rahimahullāh) said in his advice to the nationalist factions of Iraq, “To those who fight for the sake of the nation and under the banner of patriotism and nationalism, I say, did not a man come to Rasūlullāh (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam), as reported by al-Bukhārī and Muslim on the authority of Abū Mūsā (radiyallāhu ‘anh), and say, ‘O Rasūlullāh, what is f ighting fī sabīlillāh? One of us might fight out of ghadab (anger) or fight out of hamiyyah (zeal).’ So the Prophet (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) lifted his head towards him and said, ‘Whoever f ights so that the word of Allah becomes supreme, then he has fought fī sabīlillāh (‘azza wa jall).’ An-Nawawī, Ibn Hajar, and others said that hamiyyah is to fight out of pride, jealousy, or in defense of the clan. Rather, al-Hāfidh Ibn Hajar said in ‘Al-Fath,’ ‘It is possible that fighting out of hamiyyah could mean fighting to repel a harm and that fighting out of ghadab could mean fighting to attain a benefit.’ So has your f ighting, O people, gone beyond what the prophet (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) warned against? Rather, it is the full extent of your purpose, whereas what is demanded by Allah’s Sharī’ah is just as al-Hāfidh Ibn Hajar said in ‘AlFath,’ ‘Fighting is not fī sabīlillāh unless the only purpose of his fighting is to make Allah’s word supreme.’ Liberating the nation and other goals enter into this as a consequence but not as the purpose. You have known the harm in this form of fighting, as most of the Arab rulers today came to power after wars under the banners of nationalism. How do you see the outcome? Is it not loss in the Dunyā and Hereafter?” [The Second Interview].
Amīrul-Mu’minīn Abū ‘Umar al-Baghdādī (rahimahullāh) said, “The idea of nationalism and patriotism contradicts the religion in a number of its fundamentals. First, preferring people to others is in accordance with their piety not their blood. Allah (ta’ālā) said, {O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you} [Al-Hujurāt: 13]. Second, it contradicts the creed of walā’ and barā’ – a great fundamental of the religion – and uproots it. The Arab Iraqi Christian is their brother who has all rights whereas the Indian or Turkish Muslim has no rights. The Sharī’ah of these people necessitates preferring ‘Uqbah Ibn Abī Mu’ayt and Abū Jahl to Bilāl the Ethiopian and Salmān the Persian. Third, it opposes the bond between the believers. Rasūlullāh (sallallāhu ‘alahyi wa sallam) said, ‘The believer to the believer is like a building, each part holding up the other’ [Reported by al-Bukhārī and Muslim on the authority of Abū Mūsā al-Ash’arī]. He (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) also said, ‘The example of the believers with regards to their love, mercy, and sympathy is like that of a single body, if a limb feels pain, the rest of the body responds to it with sleeplessness and fever’ [Reported by al-Bukhārī and Muslim on the authority of an-Nu’mān Ibn Bashīr]. … Fourth, it is based upon the da’wah to jāhiliyyah and partisanship. Allah (ta’ālā) said, {When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts hamiyyah – the hamiyyah of Jāhiliyyah} [Al-Fath: 26]. Rasūlullāh (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘Whoever calls to ‘asabiyyah (factionalism) is not one of us’ [Reported by Abū Dāwūd on the authority of Jubayr Ibn Mut’im][Adhillah ‘AlalMu’minīn A’izzah ‘Alal-Kāfirīn].

Amīrul-Mu’minīn Abū ‘Umar al-Baghdādī (rahimahullāh) also said, “Sadly, some of the f ledglings of secularism spread the occupation’s lie, formulated a basis for it, argued in favor of it, and raised the banner of blindness in the name of nationalism and patriotism, both of which are exactly what the Magian state constitution entails. They made the resources of Iraq – especially the water and oil – the property of those who possess Iraqi citizenship! So what if Rasūlullāh (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) were to migrate to our lands? Indeed, he (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) migrated to a land other than his and settled in a home other than his. So are those resources halāl for him and his Companions in accordance with the doctrine of these people? No. As for him (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and the muhājirīn after him having authority and leadership, then for that to occur would necessitate facing the harshest of opposition from these people! How not, when these people are those who said, ‘Iraq is for all the Iraqis and its resources are the property of all the Iraqis.’ Yes, for all of the Iraqis, even if they are from the Yazīdī devil worshippers or Sabian Mandaeans. All of them according to them have equal rights whether he is a Sunnī Muslim or Rāfidī Magian! It does not concern him whether this Iraqi worships our Glorious Lord or a rebellious devil. His right will be protected! O muwahhidīn, our creed is that a Muslim is our brother even if he is a Filipino Asian and that the devil worshipper is our enemy even if he is definitely Iraqi” [Fa’ammaz-Zabadu Fayadhhabu Jufā’ā].

On “25 December 2014,” the Shāmiyyah Front was announced in Aleppo. It consists of the “Islamic” Front, the Army of “Mujāhidīn,” the “Nūr ad-Dīn Zinkī” Movement, “Fastaqim Kamā Umirt,” the Authenticity and Development Front, and most recently, the Hazm Movement. Most of these factions are members of the nationalist Syrian Revolutionary Command Council. All these factions receive supposedly “unconditional” aid from either the Gulf regimes, the CIA, the Syrian National Coalition, or the Free Syrian Army (FSA) Supreme Military Council while “not belonging” to any of them. In “February 2015,” the new front agreed with the Kurdish Autonomous Democratic Administration and the People’s Protection Units (YPG) – the armed branch of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), which is the Syrian branch of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) – to implement the Sharī’ah in ‘Afrīn! How exactly the nationalist “Islamists” plan to implement the “Sharī’ah” alongside Marxist and democratic secularists is unfathomable. One question to ask them is whether or not the crusader planes backing the PKK in ‘Ayn al-Islām will aid in the implementation of the “Sharī’ah”…

The scenario of nationalist “Islamism” working together alongside nationalist secularism to set up a nationalist government with elements of “Islam” and democracy within a constitutional framework is the same scenario that Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia have experienced. The crusaders, expecting the eventual division of the two sides over the cake, sit back and wait to support the side more favorable towards their interests against the other. The two sides compete to display more and more apostasy so as to win the favor of the crusaders and their allies – the Arab tawāghīt.

Although the game is clear to those with a sound understanding of īmān and wāqi’ (current affairs), it was unclear to the jihād claimants of Shām (the Jawlānī front). These deviants instead fought against the Islamic State alongside the Sahwah factions that later formed the Shāmiyyah Front while claiming these factions were battalions of sincere mujāhidīn. The “sincerity” with which the Jawlānī front insists upon describing these factions is becoming clearer by the day.

Below is a transcript of an address given by the head of the political and media department of the Shāmiyyah Front – Zakarīyā Malāhifjī – in a conference held by “the Revolutionary Forces of Aleppo” in Turkey on “1 March 2015.” He said:

“In response to the demands of the revolutionists and the insistence of the masses of the revolution in Aleppo on unification and organization so as to face the tyrannical aggression, and in the name of the Shāmiyyah Front, I want to reaffirm before you a number of fixed principles.”

“First, the Shāmiyyah Front is a part of the great Syrian revolution whose forces must unify to achieve victory. Unity is the only path towards victory. Division always serves the interests of the criminal regime.”

“Second, the Shāmiyyah Front is a faction that represents Syria and the Syrian people. It considers Syria to be for all the Syrians. Liberating the Syrian nation and the Syrian people from the Iranian occupation and toppling Asad’s regime are our main goals to end oppression and establish the nation of freedom.”

“Third, we consider the Syrian national identity to be the identity of all the components of the Syrian people: Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen, Circassians, Assyrians, and Syriac peoples, as well as all the other religious components.”

“Fourth, Syria as it exists now with its internationally recognized geographic borders is a nation for all the Syrian people. The front refuses the division or formation of Syria according to any factional, political, or partisan agenda or ambition.”

“Fifth, the world all knows that the Syrian regime was and continues to be the sponsor of the worst terrorism in the region. It has trained and organized gangs of terrorists and through them, it has carried out terrorist operations and assassinations in all the neighboring countries. This regime has called them for help today and used them in its war against the Syrian people’s revolution.”

“Sixth, it is clear to all of us that the Syrian revolution faces the coalition of the most arrogant regimes of terrorism in the region. This coalition is led by Iran, which has occupied a number of regions in Syria. At the same time, the world community and its organizations have abandoned their responsibility to fulfill their moral and legal obligations to stop the ongoing massacre against the Syrian people, which has been going on for four years. They did not protect the peaceful civilians who went out in enormous protests throughout the first year of the revolution.”

“Seventh, the Shāmiyyah Front presents thanks to the brothers and friends of the Syrian people, foremost of which are Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, as well as all the other countries. It also asks them to take a resolute stance to save the Syrian people from the Iranian occupation, the Iranian gangs, and the crimes of the regime.”

“Eighth, the Shāmiyyah Front believes that Demistora’s proposal does not present a plan as a political solution for Syria, nor did he present a written document, rather he proposes a ceasefire in Aleppo to save the regime from its continuous defeats and give the regime a chance to exterminate Douma, Daraa, and all the other Syrian regions. Demistora wants to jump over the decrees of the Geneva I and II Conferences on Syria, which the revolutionists had agreed to under the condition that its first decree be the change of the criminal regime and the transition to a free and independent Syria. O brothers, this emphasizes for us the importance of issuing a unified standpoint towards Demistora’s proposals and others’, not divided standpoints, because it is a responsibility for all of us before the blood of the martyrs and the masses of the Syrian revolution.”

“Ninth, the Shāmiyyah Front calls to exert sincere efforts to prevent judgment by arms in the various disputes of the revolutionists. The last of these disputes occurred in Aleppo. It calls for an independent judiciary to place matters in their right place and prevent the spilling of blood that serves the interests of the criminal regime.”

“Tenth, we thank the brothers attending, and we thank the brothers in the Syrian National Coalition and in the Syrian Interim Government. We ask them to continue to provide the constant and organized support for the revolutionists in Aleppo and to work continuously with the allies and friends of the Syrian people so that they do not cut off or reduce this support and thus the criminal machine can thereby continue to be confronted. We also reaffirm to the masses of our people that we will continue with Allah’s support to either attain martyrdom or achieve victory. Finally, we salute this gathering, which we hope becomes a unified front for the revolution encompassing all of the city of Aleppo and beyond it, all the Syrian lands, for there is a definite reality that when we unite, the regime will collapse. And finally, we thank you all.”

That ends his deviant words… So, according to the allies of al-Qā’idah in Syria, there is no difference between Muslim, Christian (Assyrian/Syriac), and Nusrayrī, Rāfidī, Durzī, and Ismā’īlī; Syria is a country for all of them! According to the allies of al-Qā’idah in Syria, the Syrian National Coalition, the Syrian Interim Government, and the regimes of Turkey, Āl Saud, and Qatar are all their Muslim brothers! [These Sahwah factions of apostasy kill the people of Islam (the muhājirīn and ansār of the Islamic State whom they label Khawārij) and leave the people of idolatry alone (the murtaddīn of the Syrian National Coalition and Syrian Interim Government whom they call brothers)!] According to the allies of al-Qā’idah in Syria, it is more important to unify upon nationalism and revolution than to divide for the sake of tawhīd and the truth! And they make these deviant statements while standing under the erected f lag of nationalist jāhiliyyah, the flag of the two crusaders – Sykes and Picot!

The questions that every follower of the jihād claimants should ask are: Why did the leadership of the Jawlānī front ally with these factions against the Islamic State? What is the ruling of those who entered into different operations rooms and alliances with these and worse factions against the Islamic State? What is the ruling of those who have cooperated and coordinated with these and worse factions against the Islamic State? Why do these factions publically make blatant statements of jāhilī nationalism – many of their statements being kufr – yet the Jawlānī front continues to ignore these mistakes and not denounce them publically (sometimes even defending them!) and instead focuses its media campaign against the Islamic State? Are the mistakes of the nationalists insignificant compared to the supposed “mistakes” of the Islamic State!

Finally, what is the real difference between Hazm and Syria Revolutionaries Front (former Jawlānī front allies) and between the Army of “Mujāhidīn,” “Zinkī,” “Fastaqim Kamā Umirt,” the Authenticity and Development Front, and the various factions of the “Islamic” Front? Is it just centimeters of beard length and the superficial differences between Morsi and Sisi, both of whom ruled by tāghūt law and led campaigns against the mujāhidīn of Sinai?

The Jawlānī front will find that its betrayal of the muhājirīn and ansār of the Islamic State will end up in the Sahwah’s betrayal of the Jawlānī front, and some of this has already begun…
